Xiaomi is in first place in Malaysia after finishing 3rd in last week’s report. The company announced last August that it will be dropping the Mi branding from its devices globally, and moved on to announce the Xiaomi Pad 5 in Malaysia as a direct competitor to Huawei and Apple’s recent product releases.

Apple is in second place in Malaysia this week after finishing 9th in last week’s report. The California-based tech company recently announced that it will cut iPhone 13 production by as many as 10 million units due to the chip shortage. The technology company is one of the world’s largest chip buyers.

Huawei is finding its place at 3rd this week after launching its mid-range Nova 9 smartphones overseas despite U.S sanctions limiting their mobile business.
