Twitter recently launched a new ad format trial globally. Twitter’s ad business is currently valued at $3.2 billion and accounted for 86% of the company’s revenue in 2020, a 7,1% increase compared to 2019.
Twitter generates its revenue by selling promoted products, including promoted tweets, promoted accounts, and promoted trends, to advertisers.
Now, the new ad format is set to increase advertising opportunities for businesses. The new format will show ads under the first, third, or eighth reply under a tweet.
