Clubhouse has recently developed a new service called ‘Clubhouse Payments’ to emphasize the app’s intention to focus on supporting the content creators.
Clubhouse has recently developed a new service called ‘Clubhouse Payments’ to emphasize the app’s intention to focus on supporting the content creators.
For Clubhouse Payments, it is a form of monetization, users will be able to pay for their favorite creators. However, Clubhouse Payments is currently under the testing state with a small group of users to accumulate all the feedbacks and make the feature available to the public.
Nevertheless, Clubhouse clarified that 100% of the amount the user pays to creators goes directly to the creator, and there may be an additional fee charged to the card users’ used. Clubhouse will pay through Stripe, a payment service provider, and Clubhouse does not deduct any cost from this revenue.
