He also predicts that the new trend will develop to deep collaborations with commerce and media, resulting in the significant use of the Direct-to-consumer model to help companies engage with their consumers.

The interview also mentioned a new trend in product collaboration with influencers or consumers to be able to personalize their products. This will require adjustments in manufacturing but the D2C model will allow companies to better forecast trends like this and adapt accordingly.
